'A Pair of Peacocks in Spring' (c. 1901) by Imao Keinen (今尾 景年, 1845–1924), a Kyōto born Japanese painter and print designer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries; he was part of the shin-hanga (new prints) art movement in early 20th-century Japan, which sort to revitalise the traditional ukiyo-e art rooted in the Edo and Meiji periods (17th–19th century).
